Model & Strategy.
Descriptor.
"Silent Battles: Stop the Stigma" is a 12-part podcast series aimed at addressing the youth mental health crisis through digital storytelling.
Problem.
Since the emergence of the COVID-19 pandemic, mental health issues amongst young people have increased globally. There have been minimal efforts to support young people’s mental wellbeing causing increased health and behavioral risks such as drug abuse. Without immediate actions to address this crisis, rates of social anxiety and depression amongst youths will most likely surge.
Solution.
The “Silent Battles - Stop the Stigma” podcast series will create an interactive space for young people to openly share their experiences of overcoming mental health issues and receive expert advice on how to best maintain their mental wellbeing. This will go a long way in reducing the continued stigma surrounding mental health issues and raise awareness around mental wellness.
