Model & Strategy.
Descriptor.
Timely is a skill-sharing platform that connects users with others locally based on mutual skills, hobbies, or activities and helps coordinate a time/place to do them together.
Problem.
As society has transitioned to a more digitized world, content and communication has become optimized for speed and quantity that many people have become reliant on. Despite the convenience and scale provided, these platforms are shown to hinder our attention, motivation, and social wellbeing that has left people feeling more helpless, unfulfilled, and FOMO. The quality of the experiences people need is not being delivered online.
Solution.
With Timely, users can post a skill/hobby they want to learn or are willing to help others with on a public feed, message one another based on a mutual skill/hobby, and then schedule a time/place to get started. By providing people a way of pursuing their interests through one-to-one engagements, Timely aims to help people achieve their goals in a timely manner, promote the value of the time collaborating together, and build meaningful relationships in the process.
